Meet Mr. Murray!

Cade Murray is joining the Lancer family as a new Social Studies High School teacher and varsity Girls Basketball Coach. Cade is looking forward to working with our students and providing a positive, upbeat learning environment for his students through social studies education! Cade grew up in Darlington, Wisconsin and graduated from Darlington Community High School in 2019. He then moved to La Crosse where he attended UW-La Crosse and graduated with a degree in Broadfield Social Studies Education and minoring in Psychology and History. While taking many social studies classes, Cade also took many classes in Exercise Sports Science and Sports Management. Cade has spent 5 years as a WIAA basketball and football official, including working a Wisconsin high school state football final in 2023, and a Wisconsin high school state basketball semi-final in 2024. Cade also officiates NCAA football at the Division 3 level in the midwest. Cade has spent 5 years coaching basketball, including stops at Team Wisconsin and Foundation Athletics AAU programs, and also helped coach the girls basketball team last year. Cade has a deep passion not only in sports, but involvement in many extracurriculars that are offered to students at La Crescent-Hokah. Cade looks forward to a similar community environment that is comparable to what he grew up with, and cannot wait to be a supporter and educator of all Lancer students and community!
